As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, I'm reminded of the rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and histories that make up the diverse Hispanic/Latiné/Latinx (and any other iteration of how you may identify) community in the United States. As a Mexican-American leader, this month holds special significance for me. It's an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable journey of our community, recognize our achievements, and inspire future leaders. In this article, I'd like to share my perspective on leadership, rooted in the values of my Mexican heritage, and how embracing our culture can empower us to excel in any endeavor.


The Power of Resilience:

My culture is characterized by resilience in the face of adversity. We've overcome challenges and setbacks, and this resilience is a valuable leadership trait.
